Just found a brief little ditty from HealthLine titled “The Worst Fitness Tends of All Time”, had a laugh and felt validated. Some overlap with my post “A Healthy Laugh”, although I love their addition that covers adding a “chair” to activities that really don’t need one (for a workout, with all of the benefits of sitting on your butt).
The lesson. Don’t fall prey to gimmicks or fads to get into shape. Stick with the basics, sweat and pain must occur, and don’t quit.
Small steps add up!
